Vatech Green CT2 Scanner
The current emerging standard of care in dentistry and dental implantology is the use of 3D X-ray studies. 3D imagery allows a doctor to collect the needed and highly valuable diagnostic information to best plan and deliver dental surgical care. The Vatech Green CT2 3D CBCT imaging system can be used for an array of applications, including endodontics, implantology, surgery, fracture and orthodontics, as well as TMJ assessment. The images accurately show the patient’s anatomy and evaluate bone volume and quality. A typical scan takes only 20 seconds and exposes the patient to a very safe and minimal amount of radiation. Additionally, the doctor can share a visual diagnosis with patients, making them more comfortable with their treatment plan and actively participating in their care.
Low Dose Digital X-Rays
Dental X-rays are essential, preventative and diagnostic tools that provide valuable information not visible during a regular dental exam. Digital Radiography is a type of X-ray imaging that uses digital X-ray sensors to replace traditional photographic X-ray film, producing enhanced computer images of teeth, gums, and other oral structures and conditions. This allows the doctors to get a much better view of the patient’s teeth and any potential dental conditions. The digital imaging software obtains a number of different views of the patient’s teeth to gain the best understanding of their situation and develop the most appropriate course of management. Digital sensors are more responsive than film, so much less radiation is required to produce a digital image.
iTero® Element™ Digital Scanner
The iTero scanner allows the dentist to take a digital impression—a highly accurate, digital 3D image of the individual characteristics of the patient’s tooth surfaces and gum tissue. The iTero scanner is intended to keep the patient comfortable while delivering precise imagery quickly and without the putty-filled impression tray that makes them uncomfortable. The built-in simulator allows us to create a simulation of what your teeth may look like in a straighter, corrected position so the patient can see how orthodontic treatment can improve their smile before treatment even begins!
Intra-Oral Camera Lets You See for Yourself
With the intra–oral camera, the patient can see where and how the dentist will be working on their teeth. The miniature video camera produces a clear and accurate picture of the inside of your mouth, allowing the patient and doctor to make informed decisions together about how work will be done.
Laser Dentistry
Laser Dentistry offers the patient the opportunity to have a safe, anxiety-free dental experience without drills and scalpels and, in most cases, without anesthesia. The laser acts as a cutting instrument or a vaporizer of tissue that it comes in contact with during surgical and dental procedures. Laser Dentistry uses laser energy and a gentle spray of water to perform a wide range of dental procedures – without the heat, vibration, and pressure associated with the dental drill. The laser beam sterilizes the affected area and seals off blood vessels, which minimizes the chance of infection or bleeding. Patients are also much more comfortable during and after treatment with laser therapy.
DIAGNOdent Laser Cavity Detection
DIAGNOdent is an advanced laser technology that helps dentists find tooth decay more accurately and reliably in its earliest stages, before it has the chance to cause widespread damage. We use it alongside visual examinations, dental explorers, and X-rays. The DIAGNOdent hand piece scans your teeth with harmless pulses of laser light. When the laser reaches decay under the surface of the tooth, the decay emits a fluorescent light. This fluorescent light bounces back to the sensor and is translated into an audible signal and a digital readout. In general, the higher the number, the greater the amount of decay in the tooth.
